Some New Book Info and A Call Out For Help

Okay, just to give you guys a peek at the first book in the new series based in Montana, the heroine has PTSD but it is from an event in her life that happened when she was a teenager. The heroes have to figure out how to overcome this boulder in their path to make her theirs. It's a big one, too.

So....I need some help now. I need votes on what to call my new series as I'm getting ready to finish it and send it to Siren.  Here are the options, please help me out guys!

1.  Montana Wranglers
2.  The Montana Wranglers of Bear Mountain
3.  The Wranglers of Bear Mountain

Back From Montana Minus a Cowboy

Coming home was one of the hardest things I've had to do in a long time. I did not want to leave that little piece of heaven I had found. The views were breathtaking, the food amazing, and the people truly wonderful. If you ever have the opportunity to visit Lone Mountain in Montana outside of Big Sky, you should take it. You will be well taken care of.

I made lots of new friends there. Here is Pork Chop, my trusty horse.

 

 

Here are Craig and James, two of the yummy, um I mean knowledgeable wranglers as they are called there.

 Below is Tiny telling us more about horses. I don't know why they called him Tiny cause he sure wasn't Tiny that I could tell.

While there, I created an entire series that I will be announcing as soon as I firm it up. It will feature a place not unlike Lone Mountain but none of the people or events will be similar at all. After all. Everyone knows I write mostly ménage. :-) There were no ménage relationships located near the area that I could find out about. LOL  I did plant a seed of suggestion in some of their minds though.

 

One of the things I'm doing now is going through all of the vast amounts of material I picked up while out there. Lots of guides and educational information on the land and animals in the area. Since we were close to Yellowstone. I went and learned a lot about the ecosystem there. It was all amazing.

 

Okay. That's all for now everyone. I need to get back to writing. I'm finishing up my Gatlinburg, TN book now. I can't wait to see it up for sale!

The Ghost Riders - Book Three

I decided to write book three of The Ghost Riders this month. Ajax and Murdock were speaking to me. Ginger is going to make them earn her affections. When Jessie and her guys, Vernon and Rhodes settle down in Reo to build their home, she begs Ginger to move back so they can be together. Since she believes that Ajax and Murdock are heading back to Las Vegas where they were from, she agrees. She's looking forward to having her best friend close by again and starting over.

Guess what? Ajax and Murdock weren't going back home to stay. They were merely tying up loose ends with their charter there so they could transfer to Reo into Dominic and Reece's MC. Wonder how that is going to go over with Ginger when she finds out?

Ginger is going to live up to her name, as in being feisty where the guys are concerned. I'm looking forward to learning more about these three characters as I go.

I'm also gearing up for May's Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in Kansas City. Have part of a basket started and trying to decide what books to include in it. Anyone going this year? I hope you'll stop by and see me either in club RT or at the Giant Book Expo. I'll post times and locations closer to the day.

Off to write some more before bedtime. I'm going car shopping tomorrow. Not sure if I'll actually jump into a new one or not, but need to consider it.

This is the owner of the ranch we were staying at The Silver Spur in Bandares, Texas. He knew all the stories and history about cowboys!

He was one of the wonderful cowboys who let us harass him over and over again. ;-)

This is a real Longhorn cow. They are lethal with their horns. The thing is, they turn their head and don't realize they are going to poke you. You have to be on your toes around them.

These are two of the three donkeys on the ranch. This is Jenny (mom) and her baby. Jenny is expecting another one soon!  Her mate is Jack, not shown here. They were free to roam all over the ranch and stayed right by the main lodge. We had fun feeding them. They would follow you anywhere for some food.

Okay, everyone. That's all I have for now. More pics. later. Right now I'm busy writing on Book Two of The Ghost Riders.  Vernon and Rhodes have to find Jessie. Tussler, her brother, shipped her off to relatives to get her away from them.

Friday Morning on the Ranch

Already about time for lunch here. It's be a great morning with some interesting workshops and time to write. The Internet here is spotty, so I won't be on as much as I would like. That just means more time to write though.

Talked with a hunky cowboy at breakfast and learned some interesting things. He talked about cattle wresling and branding and how they mostly use liquid nitrogen now to brand the cattle with. In a liquid state it is wicked cold and works just as well as branding does.

Anyway, it was fun talking to him and even more fun sitting next to him. wink wink   I'm sure he is in hog heaven with all of us women hankering to talk to him. There will be a Q&A with him tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it.

Home On The Range of The Silver Spur Ranch

Hey everyone! I'm in Texas at The Silver Spur Ranch about 50 miles west of San Antonio. So far it is hot and humid, but I'm enjoying the scenery. The cowboys have been fine to look at so far. I'm looking forward to some up close and personal time later.

I'll be taking some pictures and sharing them later on in the weekend. Nothing like some down to earth research to get my creative juices flowing. There's going to be lots going on this weekend but I'll check in when I can. My goal this weekend is to relax and write and of course, do a little cowboy, I mean horseback riding on the side. ;-)

Getting Ready to Ride

Hey everyone! I'm nearly packed and getting really excited here. I'm going to Texas tomorrow to enjoy a little R&R on a real working ranch! Love me some cowboys! I'll keep you posted on what (or who)I'm doing while I'm there. ;-)

We're going to watch a rodeo, go cowboy bar hopping, and ride horses. I'm sure I'll manage to get some writing in sometime while I'm gone. And did I say cowboy watching? Well, hell yeah! That's a sport women love to be a part of.

I wonder how many paris of blue jeans I need to pack? Oh, and I can't forget my hat!

How about a hot cowboy cover to oogle while I'm gone?
